Ordering & Delivery

We currently deliver throughout central London and surrounding boroughs, including Westminster, Camden, Islington, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Southwark, Lambeth, Wandsworth, and Hammersmith & Fulham. Our delivery radius extends approximately 15 miles from our SE1 location. Enter your postcode during checkout to confirm availability in your area. We're continuously expanding our service zones, so if you're outside our current range, check back soon or contact us at [email protected] to express interest in your neighbourhood.

We offer same-day delivery for orders placed before 11:00 AM on weekdays and 10:00 AM on Saturdays. Orders placed after these times will be delivered the following business day. You can also schedule delivery up to 7 days in advance during checkout. We provide 2-hour delivery windows, and our drivers send a notification 30 minutes before arrival. For urgent needs, contact our team at +44 20 7946 0872 to check express delivery options, which may be available for an additional fee depending on your location and current demand.

Our minimum order value is £25 for standard delivery. Orders below this threshold incur a small order fee of £3.95. Free delivery is available on all orders over £50. We believe this structure provides flexibility for both quick top-ups and larger weekly shops. If you're planning regular deliveries, consider our subscription service, which offers free delivery on all orders regardless of value, plus additional savings of 10% on your total purchase. This makes it economical even for smaller, more frequent orders throughout the week.

You can modify or cancel your order up to 2 hours before your scheduled delivery time at no charge. Simply log into your account and access your order history, or call us at +44 20 7946 0872. Changes made within 2 hours of delivery may not be possible as your order is likely already being prepared or in transit. Cancellations made after this window may incur a £5 processing fee. For subscription orders, you can skip or reschedule deliveries up to 24 hours in advance through your account dashboard without any penalties.
Product Quality & Sourcing

We partner with over 40 farms across the UK and select European suppliers who meet our standards. Approximately 70% of our produce comes from British farms in Kent, Essex, Lincolnshire, and Cornwall during growing seasons. We prioritize local sourcing when possible, which means fresher products and lower environmental impact. Items not grown in the UK, such as citrus fruits and tropical produce, come from established suppliers in Spain, Italy, and the Netherlands. Each supplier undergoes regular quality audits, and we maintain direct relationships to ensure traceability from farm to your door.

Yes, we stock a comprehensive range of certified organic produce. Our organic selection includes seasonal vegetables, salad leaves, root vegetables, soft fruits, apples, pears, and citrus fruits. All organic items are clearly marked with certification logos on our website and carry Soil Association or equivalent European organic certification. Typically, organic options represent about 30-40% of our total inventory. You can filter by organic in our shop or create an organic-only box through our subscription service. While organic produce costs slightly more due to farming methods and certification, many customers appreciate the pesticide-free growing practices.

Our cold chain management begins at the farm and continues until delivery. Products are stored in temperature-controlled facilities at optimal conditions: leafy greens at 2-4°C, root vegetables at 5-7°C, and fruits at appropriate temperatures for their type. Delivery vehicles are refrigerated, and items are packed in insulated bags with ice packs when necessary. We pick and pack orders within 4 hours of delivery, ensuring maximum freshness. Delicate items like berries and herbs receive special handling and protective packaging. This systematic approach means your produce arrives in the same condition as if you'd selected it yourself at a premium market.

We inspect all items before packing, but occasionally issues occur during transit. If you're unhappy with any item, contact us within 24 hours of delivery with a photo. We'll either refund the item cost or include a replacement in your next order, whichever you prefer. Most issues are resolved immediately without requiring you to return the product. Our quality guarantee covers bruising, wilting, overripeness, or any condition that doesn't meet reasonable expectations. We track feedback carefully to identify patterns and work with suppliers to prevent recurring problems. Your satisfaction is essential to our business.
Pricing & Payment

Our pricing is competitive with premium supermarket ranges and often lower than high-street grocers for equivalent quality. While some basic items may cost slightly more than budget supermarket lines, you're paying for superior freshness, better sourcing, and convenience. Many customers find they save money overall by reducing food waste, as our produce lasts longer than typical supermarket stock. Subscription customers receive 10% off all orders, which brings prices below most supermarket equivalents. We publish weekly price comparisons on our blog, and we're transparent about our margins, which are kept modest to make quality produce accessible.

We accept all major debit and credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. You can also pay using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal for faster checkout. All transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways that comply with PCI DSS standards. We don't store your complete card details on our servers. For subscription customers, we securely save your payment method for automatic billing on your chosen schedule. You can update payment information anytime through your account settings. We don't currently accept cash on delivery, but we're exploring additional payment options based on customer feedback.

Our subscription service provides 10% off all orders plus free delivery regardless of order size. We also run seasonal promotions, typically offering 15-20% off specific produce categories when they're at peak season. New customers receive £10 off their first order over £40 using a welcome code sent after registration. We have a referral programme where both you and a friend receive £15 credit when they place their first order. Additionally, we offer student discounts of 5% with valid NUS card verification. Follow our email newsletter or social media for flash sales and exclusive offers throughout the year.
Sustainability & Packaging

We use reusable delivery crates made from recycled plastic for most orders. These crates are collected on your next delivery or can be left outside for pickup. For items requiring protection, we use compostable paper bags and recycled cardboard dividers. Delicate produce goes in plant-based, home-compostable film that breaks down within 12 weeks. We've eliminated single-use plastic from 95% of our packaging. Ice packs are made from non-toxic gel in recyclable plastic pouches that can be reused, frozen again, or disposed of in household recycling. Our goal is 100% plastic-free packaging by 2025, and we're actively testing new materials.

We operate on a demand-based ordering system, purchasing from suppliers based on customer orders rather than stocking speculatively. This reduces waste by up to 60% compared to traditional retail models. Produce that doesn't meet cosmetic standards for individual sale goes into our discounted "wonky boxes" at 30% off regular prices. Items approaching best-before dates are marked down by 40-50% and sold through our clearance section. Unsold produce is donated to local food banks and community kitchens in Southwark and Lambeth. Truly unusable items go to composting facilities. We publish monthly waste reports in our sustainability section, maintaining transparency about our environmental impact.

Our delivery fleet consists of 12 electric refrigerated vans and 8 hybrid vehicles for longer routes outside central London. Electric vans handle approximately 75% of our deliveries within the congestion charge zone. We're transitioning the remaining diesel vehicles to electric as suitable models become available with adequate refrigeration and range. Our route optimization software reduces total mileage by 30% compared to standard delivery patterns. We also partner with cargo bike couriers for deliveries in highly congested areas like the City and Westminster during peak hours. This mixed approach significantly reduces our carbon footprint while maintaining the cold chain necessary for produce quality.
Account & Subscription

Choose from weekly or fortnightly deliveries of curated boxes or build your own selection. Subscriptions include 10% off all items plus free delivery. You can modify box contents, skip weeks, or pause your subscription anytime through your account dashboard. There's no long-term commitment; cancel with one week's notice. We offer three box sizes: Small (1-2 people, £22), Medium (2-4 people, £35), and Large (4-6 people, £48), all at discounted rates. Subscribers get early access to seasonal specials and limited-availability items. Your delivery day remains consistent, but you can change it if your schedule shifts. The service adapts to your needs rather than locking you into rigid terms.

Absolutely. While we offer curated seasonal boxes, you can swap out any items you don't want or add extras from our full range. Log into your account up to 3 days before delivery to make changes. Set permanent preferences to exclude items you never want, such as specific vegetables or fruits. Our system remembers your choices and suggests alternatives based on your past selections. You can also switch between curated and fully customized boxes week by week. Many subscribers use the curated option as a starting point, then adjust 2-3 items to suit their meal plans. This flexibility means you get variety without receiving things you won't use.

We take data security seriously and comply with UK GDPR regulations. Your personal information is encrypted both in transit and at rest using industry-standard protocols. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes. Payment information is processed through PCI-compliant payment processors; we never store complete card details. You can review our full privacy policy on our website, which explains exactly what data we collect, why we need it, and how long we retain it. You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting [email protected]. We conduct regular security audits and staff training to maintain data protection standards.

About Tebowa

Delivering farm-fresh produce to London homes since 2018

Our Story

Tebowa started in 2018 when three London residents noticed a gap in the market. Finding truly fresh produce required either expensive specialty shops or compromising on quality at supermarkets. We decided to connect local farms directly with city households.

What began as weekend deliveries to 20 families has grown into a service reaching over 3,000 customers across London. Our warehouse at 15 Willow Walk, SE1 2RR processes daily shipments from 45 partner farms within a 50-mile radius of the capital.

Fresh produce delivery warehouse in London

What We Do

Each morning, our team receives harvests picked within the previous 24 hours. We sort, pack, and prepare orders for same-day or next-day delivery. No cold storage beyond 48 hours means what you receive is genuinely fresh.

Our selection includes seasonal British vegetables, imported fruits meeting UK standards, organic options, and specialty items. Customers order through our website, choosing delivery slots that fit their schedule. We operate Monday through Saturday, with Sunday reserved for farm coordination and quality checks.

Quality control of fresh fruits and vegetables

Our Approach

We work with farms that meet Red Tractor certification or equivalent standards. Each supplier undergoes quarterly audits covering growing practices, handling procedures, and traceability systems. This ensures consistent quality without requiring customers to research individual producers.

Pricing reflects actual costs: farm prices, transport, handling, and delivery. We publish our margin structure on request. When seasonal availability affects prices, we notify customers in advance rather than substituting items without permission.
